Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Almost New Year! The holidays just zoomed by this year. Actually, 2018 in general did.
Today, I’ll be showing y’all some of the things I got for Christmas. Of course, I am not at all trying to brag. I simply love reading these and they’re pretty fun to make.
I don’t like the word ‘haul’, so last year I coined the term ‘wreath’. It’s my collective noun for a group of presents.
Please excuse the…interesting photo quality. It shall be remedied soon. 😉
Well, here it is! My wreath of bookish presents.

I hope you all had a great holiday season! I know that I did. Before I start with the New Year’s posts (Not possible), I thought that it would be fun to share some of the bookish items that I got for Christmas. I called this post “A Wreath of Presents” because that is the collective noun that I created for a group of presents.
I do not mean at all to make you feel bad by this post. I just wanted to share what I got because I like these types of posts. I’m really grateful for everything that I got from my family, friends, and Santa.
So let’s get started!

Merry Christmas everyone! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, the most wonderful day! There are so many ways to celebrate it! Whether you are going to church, opening presents, spending time with family, watching Star Wars (Why not?), or any combination of those things, I wish you the best.
Today, however, is not just about presents. It is about the birth of Jesus. Let’s remember that. Let’s thank him for all that he’s done for us.
For those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas, have a wonderful day off.
Isn’t Nibbles so cute?

Christmas is in four days! Ahhhh! That is insane. I am still getting into my final stages of hype. Wrapping presents, baking cookies listening to music (Watch me do that in July, though) I’m really excited! So, I thought that I would review a holiday book to kind of go with the theme of holiday.
When I was younger, I used to read Gingerbread Baby every Winter. Now, I’m going to come back to it, with new eyes. The cool thing is about this book is that few days after Thanksgiving, I actually got to meet the author, Jan Brett. She signed the book, so now I have an autographed copy of my own.
I’ve never reviewed a picture book before, so this review will be a little different. Well, let’s get started!

Happy December! So, you may remember that my last post was autumn pictures. Well, this blog is now officially on winter/holiday mode! Exhibit A: The snow! My blog is snowing! I love it so much! Special thanks to Allison for showing me how to do this.
December is hands down, my favorite month. There’s the holiday atmosphere, the dreams of snow, the music, Christmas, New Years, my birthday, and the new Star Wars movie.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all are having a great day! So far, I’ve watched the Macy’s Day Parade and The National Dog Show and helped cook food for tonight’s dinner. My friend was in the parade, so congratulations to her! I’ve also helped prepare our Black Friday plan. Well, I tried to anyway XD.
Today, I wanted to take the time to write a list of the things I am thankful for. In all honesty, I have a lot. So, here is my list (Along with some pictures of books in Autumn)

I’d like you to think of what you see when you walk into Target a day or two after Halloween. You see Christmas stuff, right? Aisles and aisles of Christmas stuff. But rarely do you ever see things for the extremely important holiday that celebrates our family and friends. That holiday is Thanksgiving.
