‘Twas the Night Before Camp NaNo…

It’s about 8:30 pm on March 31st. Camp NaNoWriMo begins tomorrow. And I can’t wait.

Last April, I participated in my first ever Camp. My project was outlining and structuring “Catch”, the same novel I’m writing draft two of for this Camp. I’m also hoping to begin editing it during Camp since it’s a novel in verse and shorter than most types of novels. My goal is currently 20,000 words. It will be a struggle to even get those down.

How To Catch Up on Your Camp NaNo Goal

Hey, guys! Some of you might know that I took up the Camp NaNoWriMo challenge in April. I decided to take it up again this July. I was really excited to finally write the novel that I planned in April.

But, when July came, I found myself doing other things. There were more important things that came up, like seeing family. I also went on a five day vacation.

We’re Halfway There-My Recap of the First Half of Camp NaNoWriMo (Featuring My Story Idea and Snippets)

Hi, dear Winged Wonders! April has been crazy busy so far. My life right now consists of school, drama rehearsals, reading, and Camp NaNoWriMo.

Today, we’re going to talk about Camp, but I may talk about the other things soon. 🙂

For those of you unfamiliar with Camp, it’s 30 days of writing in which you attempt to accomplish a set writing goal. You are also in cabins or groups of writers. Unlike regular NaNoWriMo, you have different goal choices for Camp. You can set page, word, hour, minute, or line goals.

I previously documented NaNoWriMo in this post and this post. This is my first time participating in Camp.

Today, I’m going to give you all a quick update on how Camp is going for me. But first, I’m going to give a quick introduction to my story idea.

Let’s start write now! 🙂
