Well, that was quite the title. 🙂
Today, I’m popping back in from the hiatus I didn’t quite mean to take to interview the fabulous Jo. Why? Because Jo is starting a brand new blog.
The Lens & the Hard Drive (Jo’s old blog) is one of my favorites. It’s rants and ramblings and fangirling and awesomeness. At the same time, it’s also serious and thought provoking.
Pawnanaw is its successor. Pawnanaw is a Tagalog word meaning “insights” or “how one sees things”. This is my stop on her blog tour.
But before we get to the new blog with a gorgeous aesthetic, let’s meet the blogger.

Hello, guys! It’s been a while. I’m fully aware that it’s the middle of March (Where has the time gone?), but I figured I should wrap up February anyway. My existence in the blogosphere has basically been 0. My goal for the rest of March is to post at least once a week. 🙂
Right now, there’s just a lot going on. I’m trying to get better at managing my time, but I should be back in full swing on this blog by Summer. Well, now that that’s out the way, let’s wrap up February!

Happy February, guys! As you can see, I thought it was high time to bring back my monthly recaps. They were always my favorite posts to write, but alas, I haven’t written one since June.
January seemed like a really long month, but at the same time, not really? A lot of things happened, including starting a new year! So, let’s begin recapping it.

What do you do when you want to buy something that doesn’t exist? You make it yourself, of course!
Clara from Clara and Co did just that. When she couldn’t find a subscription box for bloggers, a lightbulb went off inside of her head. She realized she could create one for bloggers and other content creators.

It was the end of July, a few days before my family was to leave for vacation. I was pondering what to post. My mind was drawing a blank. I felt this pressure to post certain things and make my blog a certain way.
I stepped away from my computer, grabbed a piece of paper and wrote out my honest thoughts about blogging. I realized I didn’t love blogging. I had loved it when I started, but my love had fizzled out.
At first, I was shocked. I knew I didn’t love it, but I didn’t want to stop.

I always thought that I didn’t need a niche.
I was truly a niche naysayer, posting about anything and everything. But then, I realized that you guys really enjoyed when I posted about reading and writing. And I loved posting about those things too.
Those two things were why I had created my blog in the first place. So, I wondered for a while why I got away from those topics. Maybe it was because I read blogs that focused on other things, like lifestyle. Maybe it was because there were other things that I was more into. But, either way, I had stopped posting about those things.
In January, I decided to go full swing back into book blogging. That didn’t exactly happen though. My blog was as nicheless as ever. And I knew it was time to really think about it.

Well, it’s that time again. It’d time to welcome the new month and recap the old month. These are some of my favorite posts to write! June was a great month, but July is my first full month of Summer.
Let’s begin the June Chat!

On this day, 2017, an excited Rose ran downstairs. Today was to be the day that she started her blog. She and her friend had been excitedly discussing creating blogs as a summer project during lunch. Her friend had started hers as soon as school got out. About a week later, it was Rose’s turn.
She opened up her laptop and went to the WordPress home page. This was it, the moment she had been waiting for. Her mom by her side, she began to register. But, what was to be the name?
For weeks now, she had mentally gone over what seemed like hundreds of blog name choices. But she fittingly found the one in a book.
The book was Blueberry Pancakes Forever by Angelica Banks, a recent library read. There it was, sitting on the page, “A purpose of winged dogs.” The name was the collective noun (what you call a group of things) for a group of winged dogs. It was creative and represented what she had wanted to blog about to a “t”. Rose had found her blog name.

Yes, that is the proper title. I am doing last month’s forgotten Chats With Wings mere days before I need to work on my May Chat. This is going to be a rather shortened chat because not all of the categories will be found. For example, I will not have any May goals because, well, May is over in three days. 🙂
Let’s recap April!

Well, it’s been a while! Hello guys! I believe it’s been about half of a month since I’ve posted, which is kind of crazy. I did miss this blog a lot and I’m very glad to be back. This post is kind of an updates post about this blog and also about what happened during my absence.
So, let’s get started with the various thoughts!
