A Wreath of Bookish Presents-What I Got for Christmas 2018

Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Almost New Year! The holidays just zoomed by this year. Actually, 2018 in general did.

Today, I’ll be showing y’all some of the things I got for Christmas. Of course, I am not at all trying to brag. I simply love reading these and they’re pretty fun to make.

I don’t like the word ‘haul’, so last year I coined the term ‘wreath’. It’s my collective noun for a group of presents.

Please excuse the…interesting photo quality. It shall be remedied soon. 😉

Well, here it is! My wreath of bookish presents.

First up is this blanket. It’s covered in pictures of books and words related to them! It’s really warm and fluffy. I can’t wait to read under it.

Next, my collection of new books.

Children of Blood and Bone-It’s the Barnes and Noble signed and exclusive edition. I can’t wait to read it! I haven’t read a good fantasy in a while.

Rose and Thorn-This also looks really cool! I didn’t ask for it, but I’m excited to read it. It’s a fairytale retelling, but with multiple ones.

The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl-I admit, I already read it. I loved it! It had a unique plot and interesting characters. It was a bit cliche, but I didn’t really mind.

Amal Unbound-I wanted this because of the beautiful cover. It has an interesting synopsis.

This beauty is a calendar that teaches you one word a day! I’m pretty excited to start using it, come January 1.

These are to fuel my guinea pig obsession. The first thing is a small mammal calendar. It’s from the Etsy shop of a small mammal rescue called The Pipsqueakery. It’s so cute!

And are those guinea pig socks?! They are indeed. I’m in love with them.

These adorable shirts are from TeeTurtle.com. The first one has sleeping porgs on it. The second one has ewoks on it. I haven’t seen very many ewok shirts before, so I was pretty happy to receive it.

Do you remember what I said at the start of this post, about fixing my photo quality? The last thing is a Canon Rebel t6i DSLR. I screamed when I opened it. I’ve been figuring out how to use it. I’m really excited to post photos taken with it. I’ve been using my phone.

I’m really, really, really grateful for everything I got this year. I hope you guys had a magical Christmas! I’ll be posting my reading recap soon.
