Hide and Seek Blog Tour

Today’s post is really special. Today’s post is part of the blog tour for Hide and Seek, a book written by one of my dear blogging friends, Mya. I’m really excited.

About the Book:

Synopsis

Amara Clark is haunted. When her childhood friend, Asher, vanished during a seemingly ordinary game of hide and seek, she was left bewildered and alone.

Now, eight years later, memories of Asher are coming back to haunt her and she struggles to decipher the meaning of his disappearance. In a terrifying sequence of events, she comes to the deadly realization that a simple game of hide and seek can be much more dangerous than one might think.

Before they know it, Amara and her best friend, Rowan, are whisked away on a journey to find Asher and take down the sinister group that is holding him captive. But time is running out, and saving one friend could mean losing another.

Hide and Seek

When I was younger, I loved the Babysitter’s Club series. I would usually check at least one book in that series out of the school’s library each time I got to go. I thought it was amazing and I loved all of the characters. My favorites were Mallory and Jessi.

Amara

I had a hard time deciding on a character for this question, but I’m going to pick Via from Wonder because she seems so much like the kind and perfect sister, but when it’s time for her chapter, readers learn that it’s more complicated than that. She has troubles of her own but is still there for Auggie.

Rowan

There are so many characters I’d love to be friends with! But, I think Emma from The Mother Daughter Book Club series would be a great friend. She’s always there for her friends and loves books, so I think we’d be able to have lots of bookish discussions.

Asher

The Jigsaw Jungle really surprised me. I had no idea it was going to end like how it did and I was shocked when I finished it. It also was formatted like an investigation with pages filled with notes, texts, and phone transcripts. I wasn’t expecting it to be done like that.

Little Latte

Everything, Everything is such a sweet book. The romance really warmed my heart. It’s the perfect book to read by a fireplace with a warm drink.

Silverton

I’d love to visit Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That would be such a cool place to tour. Hopefully, they’d give out Wonka bars at the end!

Ready or Not

For some reason, I usually like the first book the best in a trilogy. But, it depends for series.  I’m going to pick The Order of the Pheonix from Harry Potter, which is my favorite book in that series.

  1. Ahh, this tag is so cute! Thank you so much for tagging me. 🙂

I used to love the Babysitter’s Club, too! Ah, I still remember the excitement when I’d check them out of the library. I agree that Emma from MDBC would be a great friend- honestly, I would absolutely love to live in the world of the MDBC and be friends with them all. Even Becca, because although she has her moments, she’s still a pretty good friend at the end.
