Aloha readers! A couple of weeks ago, I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Beaufort, North Carolina. I love going to the beach during summer time, so I decided to take some pictures to share my trip with you all.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach is a place where some of my close family live. Therefore, we visit a couple of times per year. There was also visiting family, so we went to the beach resort they were staying in. That’s were I got most of le photographs.
I’ll start out with one of my favorite. We were on the beach and saw these cute little beach chairs in the perfect position to be photographed.
I took three more of the beach and resort. The first photo is all of our sand castle building tools. The second is from behind the beach, and all you can see are the tops of beach umbrellas, hidden behind the tall stalks of beach grass. Last, but not least, is the view from below the resort, going up it.
Each time we are in Myrtle Beach, my family likes to try a different miniature golf place. There are a lot of miniature golf places. I tried to get a different sort of view, the view of myself getting ready to putt the ball.
While we were driving home, I took this picture of the sky. There are little black dots near the sun, which are birds.
My last photos of Myrtle Beach are of trees. Myrtle Beach has palm trees, so I took pictures of the one in my Grandparents’ front yard (!).
The final photo of Myrtle Beach ( 😦 ), is kind of cute. It’s a tree that looks like it has one eye!
After Myrtle Beach, we spent 2 days in a place called Beaufort, North Carolina. Do not ask me how to pronounce it. During that time, we went on three boat rides to three islands, which is what the majority of these pictures are from.
Beaufort, North Carolina
On our first day, we went to a big, beachy island. We found some humongous shells and even a full conch!
Downtown Beaufort is right by the water front, which means incredible views!
I think that one might have been my favorite!
The second island we went to promised wild horses. Unfortunately, we did not see any. It was also a cloudy sort of day, so sorry about the brightness.
Also in the race for the best of Beaufort!
The last island we went to was called Sand Dollar Island. We found 8 sand dollars! The boat ride was about 30 minutes, so I was able to get 2 pictures on the way.
That concludes this travel post! 😦 Did you like it? What was your favorite photograph? I would love to know!
P.S. Expect a special post for Saturday! Hint: More photographs
